Description

Forward facing 3" manifold inlet elbow for Toyota Landcruiser 100 Series (HDJ100) with the 4.2L 1HD-FTE turbo diesel engine. Designed for an easy front mount intercooler set up.

Features:

- 3" Inlet size
- Ridged inlet (Holds 30PSI+)
- Fits OEM Sensors
- Boost Reference Ports x 2
- Made from Cast Aluminium
- Aussie Made

Tillix's ridge machined finish prevents hoses from popping off under pressure

The inlet has a ridge machined finish surface to ensure maximum bite into the silicone hose. This helps prevent hoses from popping off … unlike with smooth or poorly finished surfaces on other intake manifold elbows. When using a 1HD-FTE forward facing manifold inlet, this feature ensures reliability.

Smooth or poorly finished surfaces are a leading cause of turbocharger failure due to a sudden overspeed event when the compressor becomes unloaded. This is why Tillix have taken the time and expense to incorporate a ridged machine surface finish on all of their high performance intake manifold elbows that can be subject to very high boost pressures. This is critical for the performance of the 1HD-FTE forward facing manifold inlet.

Other similar products use a simple cast ridge at the end of the tube, which works ok at low and moderate boost pressures but have been known not to perform at boost levels above 30PSI.

Fits OEM sensors and has 2 boost reference points

Tillix's Toyota 1HD-FTE inlet manifold elbow is manufactured from cast aluminium and has the M16 thread for the OEM air temperature sensor, as well as two 1/8th BSP threaded holes for boost reference points. This makes it a versatile choice for a 1HD-FTE forward facing manifold inlet application.

The two M12 bosses are to mount a bracket that will allow the fitment of the map sensor and other OEM components if required. They can also be cut off for a smooth finish if preferred.

Comes with:

- Stainless Steel Cap Screw Bolts
- Boost Reference Adaptor
- Block-off bolts

Tillix are an Aussie owned and based company that create high quality parts and complete kits.

    Brand: TILLIX
    SKU: TIL-1HD-IN

Note: This application may use more than one turbocharger. Vehicle model, engine code and year alone do not confirm exact fitment. Exact fitment must be confirmed by matching the turbo part number or OEM part number. If the part number is unavailable, please provide the VIN or vehicle registration (rego) so our team can confirm the correct turbo.

Please confirm part numbers prior to ordering.
